Jenni Alpert (USA)pop/folk/singer-songwriter
Jenni Alpert is a Los Angeles native. Her sensual, soulfull and clear as day voice masterfully fuses influences of soul, folk, jazz, and rock simply with the use of her voice, piano, and guitar playing.
She has independently released several recordings and extensively toured and performed in over 14 countries throughout the North West, Southern, and Eastern regions of the US as well as in The UK (England, Ireland, Scotland), France, The Netherlands, Italy, India, Israel and Australia. She supported Loudon Wainright and Kaki King, and has shared stages with Sara Bareilles and Kristina Spektor, who she is frequently compared to.
A number of Jenni's songs featured in well known TV shows like CSI Miami and MTV The Real world and her song ‘All We Need is Love” was awarded as Song of the Year for the Independent Music Awards in the US.
Spring 2010 she supported the UK artist Jon Allen on his club & theatre tour in the Netherlands and made many new Dutch fans. Next to that she played several shows in France, the UK and Ireland.
