Shane Alexander is an independent pop singer-songwriter from Los Angeles who has been touring since 2005 and has worked with some of the best producers around, including Heroes and Villains (producers James Blunt), Toby Wright (Alice in Chains/Chris Whitley), multi-instrumentalist Billy Mohler (Macy Gray) and Kim Bullard (Tori Amos/Goo goo dolls).
Alexander has toured all over the globe: E.G. the US, Canada, Netherlands, Germany,
Austria, France, and Belgium. One of the highlights when big audiences are concerned,
was when Shane opened for SEAL in his full 2007 U.S. tour. Nearly all of the songs from his 2nd and 3rth cd's The Sky Below and Stargazer were licensed for television, including: Samantha Who, Bones, MTV’s Real World (4 times) and even the famous and longest running Dutch soap 'Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden'!
In the US Alexander performs with a band most of the time but outside the US he tours as an acoustic singer-songwriter with nothing more then his soft and beautiful voice, accompanied by strumming but exellent guitarplaying. Still his songs remain popsongs and therefore clubs as well as popstages and acoustic stages suit his music.
His 4th cd 'Mono Solo' was released early 2011 and Alexander presented it in the Netherlands (Paradiso, Amsterdam)
There are no plans for a 2012 tour yet but we will keep you updated!
